Hello! My name is Emma (she/her) and I'm a PhD Candidate in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at UCLA. I am an applied urban environmental studies scholar researching and teaching at the intersection of urban governance, climate change, and environmental justice. My work seeks to expand our understanding of climate change-exacerbated social and environmental disparities, and to identify solutions. My dissertation research (currently underway) focuses on the potential of community-driven urban climate governance to advance more just worlds.
